goshinjutsu (reality based self-defense) that many people over look when
training in martial arts/self-defense techniques.
.
The five areas that I talk about in this video are:
-How our goshinjutsu (self defense) is different than
most martial arts.
-Difference between what is “probable” and what is “possible”.
-Importance of physical fitness in self-defense
training.
-Mentality of Situational Awareness.
(Perception-Process-Plan)

In this video, I express my concern with this growing
“Online Ninja Community” that has all of this knowledge but no skills. This is a very dangerous direction for the
ninjutsu community because “the way” is in training. The purpose of training is to be able to
defend yourself, the ones you love and the ones that cannot fight for
themselves.Any REAL practitioner of
ninjutsu would tell you, we find our balance through the study and practice of
ancient warfare. There needs to be a
balance with study and practice… mind and body…
.
In the modern era, we live in a time where if you do
not have the answer readily available either online or otherwise, it is fake or
not true. This in itself is a very
dangerous way of thinking because these arts were written a certain way, for
only a select few to be able to have the knowledge – as long as they were
willing to train to obtain the warrior skills needed to be able to use the knowledge.
