In this video, I ask the question, what inspired you to
start your martial arts training? This
is a topic that is very different and personal for all of us. Some of us were inspired by people, while
others were inspired by books, comic books, cartoons and videos games.
.
Anyone who knows me, knows that Teela
from the MOTU (Masters of the Universe), was my
original Martial Arts inspiration. As a young transgender child, this was a very
powerful cartoon for me on many levels.
.
Regardless of our inspiration, what is important is finding
something that will inspire us to be the best us that we can be. For me, it was
the Master of the Universe cartoon and all of the small lessons that were
hidden within. What was it for you?
.
BY THE POWER OF GRAYSKULL!
.
This lesson is directly for the practitioners of the ancient
Japanese koryu martial arts of the ninja and samurai, such as ninjutsu (ninpo)
and bujutsu (budo).
